Silent Vigil to Mark the Closure of this Iconic Store Today.

Today we stood in silence as we watched the closure of our beloved M&S for the very last time…

Tears were shed inside the store as staff watched whilst the manager locked the doors with some clear signs of emotion.

Some gifts where handed out to some staff, it looked like a leaving event for a few of them, clearly for some staff it was their last day as M&S employees.

Within minutes of the closure whilst news reporters were still filming and doing interviews workmen started to dismantle the signage on the building and blacking out the windows.

Oh what a Mess M&S!!!
