12 Months on What’s Next for M&S

Today 12 months ago M&S made the tragic decision to close the store on Colchester High Street.

Despite thousands of loyal customers complaining and signing petitions. M&S have been undeterred in their plans to abandon High Streets up and down the country. But here in Colchester at least, customers are not lying down. Our campaign has continued to grow and many former M&S customers continue to let their voice be heard.

Now it’s your chance to add your voice again

We are asking all our supporters or as many as possible to write to M&S bosses  today via email, post or any other means to make them aware we are all still here and we’re not going away. We need you to urge them to prioritise  plans for an M&S Foodhall in Colchester City Centre. Lets make sure this week they’re inundated with correspondence from us.

Dear Directors at M&S

12 months on, still no news from M&S about a return to Colchester High Street

Today 12 months ago M&S made the tragic decision to close the store on Colchester High Street. Despite thousands of us complaining and signing petitions. you have been undeterred in your plan to abandon High Streets up and down the country.

I am writing to inform you that today, 12 months on, as a former loyal customer in Colchester I am equally undeterred in expressing my frustration, disappointment and anger at M&S for abandoning us.

I believe the people of Colchester have spoken loud and clear about why Stane Park is inaccessible for many former M&S Customers. You have so far not listened to us

I therefore urge M&S to prioritise their search for suitable premises in Colchester City Centre for a new M&S Foodhall.

I look forward to hearing from you with confirmation of your plans to start prioritising a plan for our a city centre store soon.

Yours Sincerely
